By green-white busses.
There are also suburban bus services to almost every little village and coast all over the island. Check with the bus terminal near the airport for details on scheduled departures, buses routes & timetable: https://www.greenbuses.gr
Hiring a car
Car is the most popular way to get around and there are numerous car rental companies around the island, but cars may be difficult to come by in high season; it is best to book with an established international rental company prior to arrival, or you can rent a Car directly with us. We offer very competitive car hire rates with full insurance. Our cars can be collected (and returned) at Corfu airport, or delivered to any of your preferable place. For rates and our latest offers, you can check our website: http://enjoycorfu.com/services/car-rental.html
By Mopeds and bikes
Mopeds and motorbikes are easily available for hire also. However if yiu decide to rent one, since the roads here in Corfu, are not so good, then please insist on a crash helmet and please never drink and ride.
By taxi or minibus
The island has plenty of taxis. You will recognize them from their deep blue colour and the sign on top of the vehicle. They will get you anywhere at reasonable rates. A good idea its, to agree on the fare beforehand, to avoid bad surprises! If you need to book a taxi or a minibus in Corfu visit this website: www.corfutransfers.net
By horse drawn carriage
Enjoy the ride in the Old Town (mostly Venetian, started building at the 16th century) in a traditional Corfiot coach, drawn by horses.
You can always get around Corfu (literally) participating in small cruises that take place every day leaving from anywhere you are. Enjoy the sightseeing and cool out in the clear blue water of Corfu’s coasts.
